Alabama vs LSU game thread CBS

His forward progress was stopped then he was pushed back 10 yards with no whistle? And I guarantee had he fumbled it would have been upheld

Yeah but still a weak call.

Doesn't matter. There's no reason he has to shove that guy like that after the play's dead.

I get they want to be tough, but these guys should be brought up in practice knowing that any extra shove has the potentional of drawing a flag.

And times like this, moments like this at the ends of close game, aren't the time to risk it by getting all emotional and doing something, well, stupid like that.

Because a bama defender had him by the thigh with his leg lifted off the ground. He shoved the guy to get him off of his leg.

I agree it was cheap. I'm just saying the lsu guy needs to keep his composure. We'll see if it matters.

Edit: Nope ... probably not

How was that not a touchback

The rules for downing a ball are retarded. If a bouncing ball/punt in the air hits a defender its dead on the spot. Yet for it to be downed and not be a touchback you have to posses it and stand on 1 leg for 10 sec before they consider it dead.

HAHAHAHAHA Buck Fama!

Love to see them lose! Im going to hold my breath for the last 50 seconds now.

EDIT: I wish i would have suffocated now!:thud:

Dang, the refs have their work cut out for them now. How will they pull this out for Bama?

Yeah it does matter when the other guy is holding his leg. Call it offsetting but don't act like the guy just flipped out for no reason.
