I am sure other schools are gonna come for their recruits as well. Hopefully Cobb decides to flip and chooses us. But I bet he waits to see who the new coach is.

I think AU has made it a requirement to to keep Williams on staff or atleast that is what I read they did when they hired Harsin.

Doesn't CRG have kids going to UT? If so, I think that helps us with keeping him.

Freeze is locked in at Liberty and Harner isn’t going anywhere after he gets a big raise at the end of this year.

That wasn't the statement. The statement was about him being lured back to Auburn, his alma mater, as DL coach. But I think having kids going to UT keeps him here. He's one of the best DL coaches in the business.

He isn't locked in. The buyout isn't known, but we do know he's making a shade under 5 million through 2030. That's roughly 40 million. For reference, Napier just signed a 50 million dollar contract with UF and had a 7 million dollar sliding buyout if he were to leave. I would think it's safe to assume Freeze's buyout is less than 10 million. If Auburn really wants him, they won't let 10 million change their mind.

I don’t think Freeze is gonna leave Liberty. I think he truly enjoys it. Little to no expectations.

That may be true. Depends on his aspirations. I'm sure he lost a lot of money (and friends) after the Ole Miss scandal. Lynchburg, VA is also a really nice town. My brother used to work there for about 4-5 years.

But if he has loftier goals, he isn't going to be satisfied at Liberty. The new playoff format does give him an outside chance to play for a Natty, but realistically he has to realize he can't run the table in the playoffs with the talent he has.
