I'm not really good at grabbing pics from the internet but you can Google and see him in a big cast on his left arm.Well, you have told me something I had not heard.
And yet, I've never seen anyone receive the snap with just one hand, and almost always both hands are on the ball while dropping back to pass or on a pitchout, and handoffs might involve either hand. If he had trouble with any of this, whether game or practice ... I could see him getting replaced by somebody else.
What I think, is that we're going to get two magical years of QB play that we'll never forget...I'm not really good at grabbing pics from the internet but you can Google and see him in a big cast on his left arm.
Yeah, because he's a big guy with good sized hands, controlling the snap should've been pretty reasonable but the MI line sucked and he spent a bit of time tucking it, needing to secure it, etc.
To be honest, he made some lousy plays at MI that can't be pinned on anyone but him. I liked that in the interview he said he wished some of his play wasn't on tape, but it is, and he isn't going to run from his mistakes. I'm not asking for a perfect QB or team but I think Joe Milton realizes if he is going to play on Sundays, TN is where he'll have to show he's ready.
Some people are so beaten down by the last 15 years of Tennessee football, hey are afraid to even think about us having a good football team. From what I have seen and heard, I think we will win 7 games this year, have a good recruiting class this Fall and a really good recruiting class next Fall. Don't be afraid to believe!Ainge might need to pump the brakes just a bit.
I'm all for Bailey if he's the best, but all other things being equal, there's no doubt an intimidation angle for trotting out a 6-5 245 lb QB who has a rifle arm and threat to run to be accounted for...almost same height and weight of Cam Newton.Well dang go ahead and name Milton starter so I can get myself up for this season. This QB situation has been really stressful and I am just ready to see it end hopefully it's the last one we have to deal with for awhile. GO VOLS
Which is why I'm not terribly worried about doubting the starter he goes with. I've been thinking it's Bailey but it seems if it's Milton he'd have earned the start. This offense doesn't work without an accurate QB. We are definitely flying under the radar...absolutely no one outside of Vol fandom sees our ceiling over 5-6 wins. You could also add Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and some others I can't think of......Sometimes guys just need to find the right fit for them to shine......Every QB CJH has had have put up numbers the guy knows what he is doing
Actually it was..I'm in the Milton camp but his injury wasn't on his throwing hand.
