The hell with EA... all he has done is pump sunshine up butchs arse... and act like the fans are crazy for wanting him out... let him go...

To add on his radio show is below avg... he doesn’t listen to people’s opinion the only thing he brings is football knowledge of the game. I for one hope the morning show and his show gets taken away bc then both suck... give me josh and will all day

What was his take on Schiano?

To be honest I haven't heard him mention him this morning...I guess he had moved on...I think he needs ot move on about Kiffin too...I promise you if Lane came in here and turned them into a powerhouse again he would be right back on that train...Winning heals a lot of wounds

He acts like he is a saint. That guy has dirty laundry himself so he needs to kick rocks

I'm 76 years old and don't anybody that doesn't have some dirty laundry or skeletons in their closet.

Time to hire the best coach and, excluding criminal acts, quit being judgmental about people's private lives.

Wow...He said if Kiffin is hired he is done with UT football...He absolutely hates that guy.

Because he has some ****ing self respect.

People like to look back at the Kiffin era as if his only wrongdoing was leaving us for his dream school....

- He left us in a total **** situation
- Then tried to steal our recruits from the class days before NSD, many of which didn't last beyond a year due to major academic & behavioral issues
- While he was here there was Lexus Gate, Hostess Gate, and a plethora of other 'behind the scenes' stories...

Say what you will about Ainge, but he's been nothing but a VFL. Pretty gross IMO that we have people in here flaming him instead of Kiffin.

Now he just reported that UT is interviewing Gundy in Dallas and Ainge is all giddy about it.

Tee is not ready for a HC at a place like Tennessee.

Why do you think his only other option was S. Alabama.

He will have tons of support here. He can lean on guys like Phil and Many others. He would not be set up to fail. Just a really good situation. JMO

Amazing you guys are choosing to bang on a guy that played for us and was a pretty good QB over a guy that bolted Tennessee after 11 months and created a dumpster of a roster in his wake. Unreal

Lane Kiffen would stay here until Nick Saban retires. Then it's off to his dream job.

I will never be done with the Vols, but I would have a hard time watching Lane Kiffen on the sidelines.

Yeah it would be so terrible to have 4 or 5 good years. Plus dabo has the Bama locked down after Saban so don’t have to worry about that

eh, it's no different than Swain hating on butch. i'm sure Ainge isn't alone, just like swain wasn't alone.

personally, i get why bringing Lane back would make sense. there is some baggage...there is some risk, i think that goes w/out saying.

but situationally speaking, Lane could provide a path out, while also providing a potential long term solution.

I hope it isn't this path.

I will say, I would get behind him if he is hired. But with the Haslams ego I really don't think they would ever rehire him.

Kiffin is a snake and will bail on us again. Let's see if he puts up pictures of Reggie Bush and all his USC players, like he did last time, instead of honoring all the great past players at UT.

Hiring Kiffin again would be like taking the hot girl back after she cheated on you. We should be better than this and I can't believe the support I see on this board for rehiring a worm like Kiffin.

Kiffin is not the answer. He was a total immature firestorm here before he ran off in the night. His players were on track to transfer out just as much as Butch's. You guys have incredibly selective memories.

Tee simply doesn't have the experience yet. If we go that direction, I will get behind it.

I would prefer Kiffin. He could right this ship.

Wait, what? His dirty laundry is addiction problems stemming from injuries.

Kiffin was just a plain old *******.

I think Ainge is overreacting, but let's not pretend they are morally equivalent.

I have thought the same thing. Kiffin would be Bama's #2 behind Dabo. Bama fans have told me this and I have no reason to doubt them.......
Yes, he would bolt in a heartbeat for his second dream job........... Laughing to whole time!

That being said, I'd take a chance on him now with a contract strongly in UT's favor.
