Not arguing it is. But the thread is talking about his arm strength. He gets too much loft under his deep ball and arm isn’t strong enough with that level loft. It’s worked out every time with Brazzell.Under throws are not all bad, WR still has a chance and creates a jump ball a lot. Over throws though like we have had are killers
It may have been discussed but I have not read anything related to his arm strength. Compared to our previous three QB’s, does he have the strength? The past two games, he has under thrown receivers on the deep ball. Fortunately, they were both caught for TD’s.
This one it seemed he put extra touch on it maybe detracting from length of throw. Is 50 air yards his best?
He is going to miss some here and there but I’ll take it especially with his hit rate on deep passes. Well nobody had arm strength of Milton .but Joey so far shows he makes better and smarter throws than last few .His first big sec test I think he faired well Let's let it unfold ,I personally think we in good shapeIt may have been discussed but I have not read anything related to his arm strength. When you have a target that is 6'6 and you get 1 on 1, there is no reason not to throw a jump ball. Brazzell should win that battle the vast majority of the time. His jump balls scare me. 2 of Brazzel's TD's could have just as easily been INT's and he did throw 2 in the game. It's a big risk to throw the ball up like that against SEC defenses
Yes, Aguilar doesn't have elite strength for those long passes, but he more than make it up by his quick mind, He is a very good QB for our offense, I would hope that you would recognize that, and stop celebrating every perceived weakness in our coaching staff. It may have been discussed but I have not read anything related to his arm strength.
