Aguilar’s arm strength

Under throws are not all bad, WR still has a chance and creates a jump ball a lot. Over throws though like we have had are killers
Not arguing it is. But the thread is talking about his arm strength. He gets too much loft under his deep ball and arm isn’t strong enough with that level loft. It’s worked out every time with Brazzell.

Yeah he does not have all world arm strength. But it is adequate.

It may have been discussed but I have not read anything related to his arm strength. Compared to our previous three QB’s, does he have the strength? The past two games, he has under thrown receivers on the deep ball. Fortunately, they were both caught for TD’s.

This one it seemed he put extra touch on it maybe detracting from length of throw. Is 50 air yards his best?

Omg 🤦🏻‍♂️

lol. Wrong. What you are seeing is the talent disparity showing up where it always does. Depth. UGA has elite depth. We don’t.

The biggest talent disparity is in our defensive position coaches and theirs, on field talent gap is much narrower, still in Georgia's favor.

Wow! Throwing TDs all over the place and we are asking about arm strength?
Yes. Inquiring about arm strength because had passes been deeper, points could have been scored earlier and game put away faster. Instead, one was an interception and not points for us.

He is going to miss some here and there but I’ll take it especially with his hit rate on deep passes. He played a great game today.

I would rather see a ball slightly underthrown than overthrow by 5 yards as we saw last season. At least receivers have a chance, and it makes it hard for DB’s to avoid the PI penalty.

Well nobody had arm strength of Milton .but Joey so far shows he makes better and smarter throws than last few .His first big sec test I think he faired well Let's let it unfold ,I personally think we in good shape

His jump balls scare me. 2 of Brazzel's TD's could have just as easily been INT's and he did throw 2 in the game. It's a big risk to throw the ball up like that against SEC defenses

When you have a target that is 6'6 and you get 1 on 1, there is no reason not to throw a jump ball. Brazzell should win that battle the vast majority of the time.

He seems to have underthrown the long balls often. Fortunately he's had receivers who have made the contested catches, or had room to slow down without the DBs being able to prevent the catch.

Yes, Aguilar doesn't have elite strength for those long passes, but he more than make it up by his quick mind, He is a very good QB for our offense, I would hope that you would recognize that, and stop celebrating every perceived weakness in our coaching staff.

QB play is a strength this season. Pass defense appears to be the biggest weakness.
It took a 4th down TD pass and extra 2 pt conversion, a 5 yd penalty, a missed FG just to get to OT! And a few controversial officiating calls! We had a 90% chance to win and lost!

A great number of our fans nitpick everything to death just to create things to complain about.

I’m very optimistic about this team this year and this program going forward. It appears that what CJH has built in a very short time is sustainable.

The last 2 QB's had arm strength. This kid has touch and he is lucky as hell on the deep balls. I prefer touch over brute force. His deep shots are getting caught thats the key to loosening the defense for the run.
