It is clear to me that our coaching is just fine. Depth is our flat out only problem.
For those of you saying "a half time is plenty time of rest" let me ask you if you've ever played organized football at the high school or collegiate level? I played for a fairly good high school team where we had to each play both sides of the ball every week. I think that is fair to say it's equal to a half of college ball, at least. I can say, half time is not enough to properly "get your wind" for another go. We won games because we had depth at multiple key positions, on the line, and in the running back/wide receiver position. College ball is no different.
If you don't think Dooley single handedly kept us in the game in the first half with his fake punt and other choice calls, then you don't understand the game of football, that simple. Please, crawl back in your hole and wait for next week to *****/praise our coaches and players depending on the outcome of a game. I however, will be confident in knowing that with a competent QB we hang in this game till the end (and that's not even counting Hunter).
But, if Dooley does not play worley the rest of the year now, he is a fool in that regard.
