Being from Murfreesboro myself, he represented well. He made me proud last night and I’m glad he’s a Vol.

He wanted to play because he knew our chances of beating Vandy would be greatly improved. If he was I it for himself there is no way he would have risked injury for a completely meaningless game.

You and others who attack him for wanting to play last year ought to rethink your position and get over his foul language on social media.

JJ gives his all for Tennesse and saying anything other than that makes one look like a tool. IMO of course...

When I see this picture, I think back to when my kids were little and how huge it was to hang out and get autographs after the games. There were some players that were unapproachable.

The same reason employees can’t do the same thing against their boss and expect to keep their jobs. And yes, I know JJ is not an employee, but the authority structure is the same. This should be obvious here.

Pruitt did say the team had good practices the week leading up to the game. That turned out well for us.

JJ's tirade last year was a symptom of a much bigger disease that is still affecting the cohesiveness, determination and grit of the team. CJP is working on it and I see improvement in that area. It remains to be seen if the patient can be cured or amputation is required.
