offense did not do its job.

defense did not do its job.

you get 14 special teams points and lose, you choked something fierce
Then that means 21 points from the offense, which ought to be enough to win the game.

Defensive play calling gets 100% of the blame for this loss. There's absolutely no other way to break this game down.

Better then any contribution you've made

That is cool. I don't particularly care nor understand why I am even taking time to respond to you. You seem like a nice guy. Plenty of celebrating going on I presume.

I'm not dancing at all. I wanted the Broncos to win today because Manning v Brady has given us some of the most compelling games of the past 10 years. I wanted to see it again. I swear Manning just seems like he's snakebit sometimes. In spite of the pick 6 he did enough to win today and the defense choked at the end forcing Manning to make a mistake at a time when he should have already been in the locker room.

You act like that pick was on him, and that there was no PI on the play.

In today's NFL where defense has all but been outlawed from the game, I'm not sure we can just say 21 points should automatically be enough to win a game. I don't have time to go through game by game for the actual numbers, but I bet there were A LOT of games this year where the losing team had 21+ points.

How many times have I already said in this thread the one today wasn't really on Manning? At least 5, but I'll say it again. Today's pick 6 was just bad luck. That said, it still happened, but in spite of it, Manning held up his end of the bargain today. His defense didn't.

Flacco hasn't won a playoff game where the opposition scored 15, and they won with the opposition scoring 35. 21 points is a lot on the Ravens, especially considering all the holds, missed PIs, and the fact that Manning had 2 fewer possessions because of the kickoff returns.

So it looks like either way, the AFC championship will be a rematch of a game earlier in the season.

I really hope the Texans can change their mojo and beat the Patriots, but I won't hold my breath.

The Ravens vs. Patriots will make me barf, and even more so will the idea of the Patriots back in the Super Bowl yet again.

And pass interference. Defender pulled the receiver's arm back, causing the ball to bounce up in the air, causing the pick 6.

The last INT was just an awful throw.

heck of a game.
I think most know the Broncos are missing a piece from being legitimate contenders for a title.

New England would of been more content playing Denver next week instead of Baltimore IMO

I can't understand his decision to throw there...it seemed clear he didn't have the arm strength late in the game. They couldn't protect Manning, and the couldn't get to Flacco. They got outrushed. Tons of penalties on the Broncos OL and DL. This game was won in the trenches.

That was the worst officiated NFL game I have ever witnessed. The replacement officials were better than this, at least you expected mistakes, not incompetence,

I don't feel like they missed any calls in Denver's favor, other than the hold on the kickoff return.

There was an amazingly bad personal foul on what should have been Denver's decisive drive. There was a ridiculous hands to the face call that negated either another Manning fumble or a failure on third down, I forget which. There was more. It went both ways.

Manning is coming off four neck surgeries and had to wear a glove because he can barely grip the ball in the cold. I'd say he played pretty damn well.

Disastrous conservatism by John Fox. How can you start trying to run the clock out by handing the ball off with almost four minutes left when the only thing Baltimore can do is throw deep? How can you not let your HOF QB try even one play action throw to get a 1st down and win the game right there? How can you not try at least one pass with 30 seconds left and 2 timeouts?

Stunningly awful play on the tying touchdown. Probably the worst defensive play I've ever seen in the NFL.

That is hallmark, John Fox football.
