Advice for dealing with Striker

Ignore Striker.

The OL Brown made statements that could have been extremely costly for OU (since he will face Barnett). I believe that Striker's comments were orchestrated by the OU's coaching staff as a smoke screen for Brown's statement.

Think about it... If we have any of our offensive players keying on Striker instead of their play assignments, that could cost us the game.

Forget Striker; forget Brown, just stick to the game plan.

We will also have martinez back on the sidelines.

Cool, you also rushed for what 60 yards against akron? Don't fix that in a week either. We'll be able to rush 4 and get to your qb against your young oline and lack of running game.

Just run the ball at him, move the pocket. Pull the guards and center and make sure that Striker has a helmet in his chest every run play to whatever side he's on. He's a undersized linebacker that uses speed to his advantage. You take that away by using size and power football against him.

Agreed, basically, completely the opposite of what we did last year.
