Advice for dealing with Striker

Striker is so overrated on this board. He's a decent player, but honestly nothing special.

I know people on here are obsessed with him because he lived in the backfield last year, but that had much more to do with our tackles play than his.

Agreed. He was a so-so guy going up against a poor O line and a, dare I say it, poor immobile QB. We made him into some kind of legend by simply being bad. Hurt was a year out of high school and didn't even play his senior year. Let's be honest, saying our play calling was "vanilla" is like calling the fires of hell "hot".
I'm not saying that Striker didn't belong on the field, but he is in no way some world beater. I got this feeling that one the adrenaline wears off in this game and it's just man against man, he is going to wilt. If they don't jump on us in the first quarter and put 21 on us, they are gonna lose this game.

Ok, I don't like to tout my inside sources - but here goes:

The coaches have not been feeding Kahlil for 3 days. He is ****ing starving. At this very moment, Kahlil is in a cage yelling for food.

Butch has been telling him all week he can't eat until he breaks one of Striker's legs in half.

First snap of the game, expect Kahlil to be on the O-Line and ready to devour Striker. Pizza is ready on the sidelines as a reward.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is from an inside source. Just sayin'

Or, maybe have Dobbs recreate the scene from the "longest yard" where a perfectly placed pass in the " McNuggets" would really slow him down.

Connecting a few times with jalen Hurd legs running downhill is a solution.

But according to Tee Martin he is soft and terrible and Striker said he is nothing special so he can't be that good. Those guys know all about Jalen

Oh...there were some hits last year...

Expect MORE this year...K..Hot Stuff?

You guys sure do love that play. It was a great hit, but seems like it would be painful to watch it over and over again with that 34-10 score staring you in the face.

Yeah, they always put so-so players on the All American team. Your intellect is dizzying.

..... You realize they met last year and there is video of Striker and Hurd one on one from the game.

Just go re-watch it.

Striker is nothing but the Big 12 version of Michael Sam. when he plays against young O-lineman or subpar talent he excels. Against far better tackle talent he gets folded up like Baylor and TCU did. Lets not forget he had 0 sacks against Alabama.
