I'd like to see an end around to Strikers side were a larger WR in the slot, (like North) puts a crack block right on his ear hole.

Just run the ball at him, move the pocket. Pull the guards and center and make sure that Striker has a helmet in his chest every run play to whatever side he's on. He's a undersized linebacker that uses speed to his advantage. You take that away by using size and power football against him.

Did you guys try any of that last year? Or just gonna try this year?

I don't remember any crack blocks.

And I want to specify that I don't want them to hurt Striker. But after getting hit out of nowhere, players tend to keep their head a swivel.

Let Hurd put his helmet between his numbers a time or 2, then he might not be in a hurry to get in the backfield.

whats last yrs offense have to do with our offense this yr? you just banking on that? seems that way. They arent the same at all. But i understand you gotta hang on that. Striker can rush at a statue QB but hes garbage if you run at him.

The guy who lived in Tennessee's backfield during the game last year. He was back there so much, he should have just huddled up with the team.

I remember him running over and through Thomas play after play got to the point in the second half got that sick feeling that you know you cant do nothing about it.

This--- the kid is listed at 218 and just has speed/quickness.. run at him all night and he is neutralized. Hurd at 242 hitting with a full head of steam and a chip on his shoulder won't hurt either....

Striker is so overrated on this board. He's a decent player, but honestly nothing special.

I know people on here are obsessed with him because he lived in the backfield last year, but that had much more to do with our tackles play than his.

This is the right approach. He is actually not as good vs the run as their other DE. Put him on his back early and often.

Go hand the ball off to Striker and have the whole team dog pile his azz. Then use his quote "running backs get hit, running backs get tackled"!

yep. run at him and make him play the run with tackles, guards and tight ends coming at him. Then hes basically the size of a Sun Belt Defensive End. You let him pin his ears back and rush then youre in trouble. He was also doing that to Thomas, a freshman center, who was playing tackle. Plus you are playing with fire if you wanna blitz dobbs as much as they did worley.
