Every now and then I get automatically redirected away from VN to a landing page for some celebrity gossip site or something. This happens without me clicking on anything. When it redirects there is a 15 second countdown before it will send me back to VN, but it doesn't actually come back. I have to close the browser and reopen it or open a new tab to get back to VN.

Haven't had that issue and haven't heard of anyone else experiencing it. Hopefully others will chime in if it's a recurring problem. Thanks for the feedback. :hi:

It's only happened a handful of times over the past couple weeks or so, and only on desktop. I'll take a screenshot next time.

The Degree saturation ads today have rendered the site useless for me on the iPad. Ridiculously slow. I think its the ad.

4 complaints.

1) Letters in white box under users online is in Chinese?

2) same with white box on right side.

3) Ton of pop up ads that occasionally lock my screen up

4) Called your office phone about a month ago to talk about an idea that could make both of us money. No one returned my call. Sheesh. A least hear a brother out.

Wife says you need to fix the glitch I told her about that somehow reroutes me to a porn site when I log in.

Holy mother of all ads. Why can't the damn thing stay closed once closed. Freak, how long before that screen sized ad goes away. That is one good way of getting me to not be here.

Can I just say I HATE the drip-drop add?

Anytime I accidentally go by it w/ my mouse, POP-UP!!!

Hate it!

You shouldn't be getting any screen-sized ads from here, not that I'm aware of anyway.

Send me a screenshot and all the details you can. Most of the time these are things that slip through the cracks and I don't see them. If I can get enough details, I can have them removed.

When I came over to VolNation this morning, the first thing to greet me was the drip drop add. Crossed it w/ my mouse twice trying to get around it, closed the pop up twice. Made it here and read your response, now that %@^$^ ad is playing hard to get because it knows I'm looking to capture it in a screen shot. :crazy: :)

Don't worry, I'll get it. It'll show up eventually today. :aggressive:

Got it! If your mouse rolls over the top or left side advertisement, the pop-up in the second screen shot shows up... even if you've already closed it ten times.

I mean, I'm sure their product is very good and I am a big fan of capitalism and all, but come on, they could at least flag when they've displayed the pop-up once and don't do it again, right? Or better yet, don't do the pop-up. It's the equivalent of a pushy car salesman... they just make you leave and go to their competition.

I see, so it's a rollover? It only expands if you roll your mouse over the ad? Also, can you give me the url where it takes you if you click on it? :hi:

Yep, it's a rollover. If I see it again I'll try to get the destination url for you.

I'm not seeing it as frequently as I had been the last couple of days, so I guess that's an improvement. :)

If you're getting full and half-screen popups like LG, please post a screenshot so I can track them down. I'm not personally seeing those types of ads and they aren't supposed to be in our rotation. Occasionally they sneak through though, unfortunately. :hi:

Freak, I wish I understood how to screen shot or describe these issues more fully for your benefit. Just don't.

I will add that today I've received a number of pop ups about slow script loading, asking if I want to debug it, etc.

I've requested that one be removed, but since I can't duplicate it on my computer, sometimes it is hit or miss. I'll keep working on it.

Yeah, if you can figure out screenshots or target urls, that might help. The slow loading script can sometimes be an issue with an outdated flash player.

I was able to locate this Dripdrop ad and it's been removed from our system.

In the future if you guys can post a screenshot and target url, that's helpful. :hi:
