Numbers that I heard repeated about a zillion times yesterday were 30 scholly players on AP, 24 of them returning Juniors. Didn't say what the other 6 were. I don't blame Kiffin on this one. This is on the current staff. Don't know that I would heap the blame on the HC here either. Academics are usually handled way below the HC and he is supposed to be getting weekly reports. Will be interesting to see if the reports he was getting were ignored or if they were false. JMHO.

I dont know if we have comparable talent. I think we do in some areas, but some areas we have question marks.

New defense scares me, but if we catch on quickly I could see pulling one of those games, but if we don't im not ready to say Dooley failed.

I'll tell you guys what my golf coach told me after the first semester of my Freshman year. "There are 3 ways for an athlete to get bad grades: be dumb, be lazy or be overwhelmed. Only category 1 would be my fault. Now get out of my office and guess which category you're not in."

We have comparable talent with UF and USC. UGA has a history of underperforming. Dooley, in his third year, needs to show that he can beat someone that has comparable talent. 8-4 should not be the expected result this year.

Made sense to me, I was only expecting me to laugh.

But basically, his negativity towards Dooley is sour grapes imo. So Dooley was successful in giving him sour grapes.

Just a small jab to lighten the doom and gloom. Sorry, I failed

This. 8-4 probably would have been acceptable had the UK game gone differently.

2012 was supposed to be a BCS bowl run with Kiffin and an SEC title run with Dooley. People were earmarking 2012 as the year that we were back to prominence.

With UF: We have more talent on offense. Not potential or highly rated recruits, but we out-talent them on the field. They have more defensive talent right now (their D should be stout). Which is why the talent is comparable.

With USC: Again, our offense is more talented than theirs. They have an edge in RB because of Lattimore. Their D loses some key players and should be pretty equal. Again, not saying we are better, but we have comparable talent.

Heck if I know, replacing Kiffin? Not exactly a secret that he doesn't like Dooley. The reason is unknown to me. Dooley kicked his puppy maybe?

Maybe sour grapes wasn't the right thing to say? Successful in making life miserable for a select few? That's probably more like it.

Just trying to make a joke about Dooley never being successful. I will get back in line now lol

Stop trying to make sense. There are about 5 posters that are basically sunshine trolls. Anything that is said to try and lighten anything up gets splashed. 3 of them have already gotten you to respond.
