Academic report from GVX....

I've already picked. 8-4 likely means he has shown no improvement here other than a stable roster. Most of the coaches in the SEC could win 10 with this team.

Yes I know you have already shown you are hoping DD fails 6 times next year.

Actually I'm hoping he fails zero times... But if he fails 4 times... Might as well fail twice more so we can get a more qualified guy in here.

So 9 wins or bust huh? Do you see how that may be a bit unrealistic?

There is nothing unrealistic about expecting Tennessee to beat NCSU, Akron, GSU, MSU, Mizzou, Vandy, UK, Troy and one of these four: UF, Bama, USCe or UGA.

We can debate your first point, but your second point is pie in the sky BS. There won't be more than 1 or 2 coaches in the SEC win 10 games next year with their own talent, much less ours.

Better get down to local sporting goods store and buy yourself a kentucky and vandy shirt for those last two games then. They need all the support they can get.

No thanks.

I'm not going to cheer for us to lose any games - but if we happen to lose enough to get Dooley canned - my anger from the loss will be a lot less than normal and my excitement for the future of the program will be at an all time high.

I'm torn on Missouri just because I don't know much about them.

I believe the top 6 definitely could.

I give you that. Bama likely will be a loss. UGA, UF, and USC are toss ups in my opinion. Guarantee we will be underdogs in all 3 of those though. That was what I was getting at, I hope that we could snag one of those 3 but to expect it is unrealistic in my opinion.

I wouldnt say it is a failure if we lost all of those unless we get blown out and not compete.

I would be except Tennessee plays them late in the season and I expect them to be dragging. They haven't had to go against SEC defenses week in and week out before.

The QB is good but he takes a lot of shots because he's a scrambler. The offensive style is going to need tweaking against SEC defenses to work and keep him healthy. The defense is mediocre.

So expecting Dooley to win as an underdog once in four tries is unrealistic?

So you find it unrealistic to have an expectation of beating a team with comparable talent? Not all three, just one.
