I never really was sold on Skip. ECU tore it up against WVU and Va tech a few years ago and I don't think they followed up that performance this year. I say Strong will be on top before Holtz will be

USF is a enigma to me,such a fast track to a non existent program to national prominence with a fertile recruiting area yet such a underachiever the past few years. Im curious to see if this was just a coaching issue.

Well yeah but I mean they still threw those picks; they gave em a tough game but couldn't keep it up for all four totals

but the score at the very end of the game (literally at 0 secs left) makes it look like it was a much closer 8 point loss than - in reality - it was more of a 15 point loss


....kinda in a similar (though not exactly the same) way how in 2006 Michigan scored with the game pretty much already over against Ohio State to make it only a 3 point loss

Out of the 65 BCS teams....I'd say probably close to 25-30....It's gonna be a rough season this year...I'm looking for big improvement in year 2 of DD though

I think he could get fired too, and that would have made the interim coach scenario for this year that much more appealing. He's simply misplaced at Michigan.

As a Michigan fan, basically he has to do two things: win 8 games and beat with Ohio State. The last two years haven't been close, and Michigan hasn't beaten Ohio State in forever. They are going mad. He also needs to start Tate Forcier, because the thought of Robinson being QB scares the hell out of Michigan fans.

There is a reason Jim Harbaugh wouldn't talk to any big programs...he is waiting in the grass for Rich-Rod to get fired and he can take that job. Michigan fans really want him too.

Somewhere in the 24 to 29 range. A few teams I don't know much about.

One of the major tests this season is going to be whether that number is the same, higher, or lower in late November.

And I'd guess that UT will be in the lower 1/3 to start the season, but become a better team as the season progresses and be in the middle of the pack be season's end.

20 does feel right...I think more than most the marriage of the new o-line coach and the young o-linemen will have a ton to do with the over/under on this. The defensive coordinator from Boise will also have much to do with this seasons team identity, good or bad.

I feel like we may be forgetting some that while we are probably the 8 or 9 best team in our conference you have to remember that the top 6 in our confrence is much better than any other.

I think we would sit comfortably in the middle to top half of almost any other conference maybe except the Pac 10.

We have had 2 top 10 classes back to back so we have a lot of young talent we just need the experience and good QB play and we could be a solid team (solid not great by anymeans).
