I've got a couple right off the bat:

1. Please never start a thread with just a player's name. Most folks will assume the worst (player badly injured, or dismissed from team, or something else bad). Always best to include an indication of the direction of the thread in the title, like: "Has Johnny Smith Reported In Yet?" or "Fred Jones Puts on 20 Pounds, Gonna be Beast!".

Well JP, I still think this is a good idea. I would like to see this thread taken seriously despite the direction it has taken.

Guys, if people have reached their thirties and haven't changed their speech patterns, I highly doubt your ideas of adding grammar lessons to a FAQ thread would help.

Try not to "loose" your minds over this.

It is formatted like this:

Ignore that part about php code, that is the only way I know to get the formatting to show up without it just loading the video. You just type what is in the box.

Hats off for 2 reasons. Providing instructions for one. But mainly for providing the coolest goat escape I may have ever seen. :hi:

Do not "sneak in" political or religious jabs to posts.
All here are Vol fans (other than a few mostly friendly rivals).
Some of us have very strong political and/or religious views. Which is perfectly fine.
But this is just not the place to express them.

It's no fun when everyone agrees. Diverse opinions contain good ideas, bad ideas , and spark interesting debate that leads to pertinent info. Have at it! :)

1. Blue font text means "sarcasm intended". Sarcasm can be difficult to detect in writing, because facial mannerisms, tone of voice, and other cues are missing. If you see blue text, approach with a sense of humor.

Since this is a FAQ list (and hopefully not all pet peeves), I'm serious about the YouTube thing, I have asked on other threads and still don't know how to do it, so this is a Frequently Asked Question.. by me! I can't be the only one.. or can I? :crazy:
