:good!:

But really, I think we should steer clear from USC right now unless its in the National Title game!

How bout we add Notre Dame?

Again? We've already played them. Although, if we were to start, we need to keep it going year after year, and make it a rivalry of sorts. Seriously.

i agree with 2014. Lets get the program re-established before the student educates the teacher.

0 - 4 vs USC all-time. But hey, who isn't.

Anyway, I would love to see UT play some decent OOC teams. Some of my favorite imaginary meetings being: UT/Missouri (Battle of I-155), UT vs Texas (acronyms battle UT vs UT), and UT vs. West Virginia (the "We're sorry, we would've stopped recruiting Tajh Boyd if we knew we weren't going to like him" game).

Mike Hamilton said on sportstalk about a year ago that there had been discussions between UT and USC about a home and home series.

My USC source suggests that is still in the works. Currently looking at 2020-21. Who cares at that point tho, right?

I mentioned this before just after the hire as a possibility.

I guess it could be set up, but as far in advance as schedules are made, who knows if whether or not Carroll and Kiffin will still be coaching at their respective schools by the time it rolled around.

so true

I have seen UT play USC in 1980 and 81 and the 1980 game broke my heart and the 81 game was a brutal massacre (43-7) that should've gotten Johnny Majors fired..We had lost to UGA 44-0 the week before that game...I would much rather wait to get this team rebuilt and national stage ready before even daring USC to a dual...That's like playing chicken between a ford pickup and a tractor trailer...The pickup is going to get turned to dust.

The way the SEC is stacked at the moment, the only tough competition we need to add to our NC schedule would be a bowl game.
