A good handgun

Hope you find the right one just for you Indy. Starting this thread has certainly turned out well for you.

Good friend of mine bought one of these a few years ago when they weren't quite as pricey. Sweet little pocket pistol shooting .22 mag.

The .45? No. Reminds me that I have a derringer that I bought almost 20 years ago. Never been shot. It's a .45 cal, too. Never was quite sure what would happen once I pulled the trigger.

Reminds me of my youth working 2nd shift in a plant in KV. I was looking for a shortened or sawed off shotgun. Fellow said he had one and would bring it in the next day. Next day, we go to the parking lot and he pulls out a 12 gauge that looks the size of an old flintlock pistol. I'm guessing the barrel was 8"-10" and he'd worked the stock into a pistol grip. I told him to fire a round and if it didn't explode, I'd take it. He said, I ain't crazy. I'm not shooting this thing.

I'm guessing you didn't buy?

yeah try that...only problem I'd have with that is shooting a whole in my garage wall, using the vise

I have a ten pound drill press vice that I could use outside. Here's one that might make you cry. I'm looking at a 40 cal Sig I bought about 6 years ago. Field striped it many times, but never been fired.:p

V&V, i don't know what my family has planned for today or tomorrow, but i will try to let you know when i might be able to shoot.

Well actually, tomorrow will probably be better. it's already almost 5, and we are still helping my grandma with stuff around the house. plus we still have to eat and stuff. what do you have going on tomorrow?
