A good handgun

Not familiar with anyone in the Cleveland/Chatt area, but if you can drive North to Kingston, Tn, about an hour or so, check out Frontier Firearms. They know what they're doing and have a range on the property. You can Google for more info and directions. You would go up 75, then West on 40 for a few miles to their exit.

Frontier Firearms Introduction

thanks, i will look into it. not sure if i will be able to though. i am riding down their with my parents so i wont have my car. we will see though.

I'll be in Cleveland, Sly. around Chattanooga.

Silvers Firearms
Fugate's Firearms

Two cheapest places in the area.

Can't beat a Glock 26. Around $450-500. And if you decide to carry it makes a great carry gun. No jams. If you go to the range you can load longer mags. 9mm is relatively cheap. Whatever you do don't buy a compact .380 unless you want a completely unreliable handgun. Aka kel-tec.

If you like revolvers check out the Ruger lcr.

Allsome!!
I raise you RV's Gov't issue Colt 380 collector's item and the machete' she keeps in the shower.

there's only 3-4 more guns that I would buy, and that's one of them...

I have the Colt MKIV Series 80, .45...and I've wanted to get the .380 version just to have the pair....

other ones on my list:

Colt 1st Gen .45
Winchester 1890 .22 rifle
Colt M4

My humble opinion is that the M-4 is the most overrated rifle today. I think everybody wants just because they think it's cool to say you have one.

Ugh. No offense but I don't get the whole need to carry at all times thing.

I don't need to carry a sidearm. I choose to carry a sidearm. Mostly because of the people in our society who believe they can do whatever they want to whomever they want.
