Yea it sucks sometimes lol. Would u want to go shoot. Ive only been a few times and shot a bunch of different nines. Sig p250 229, glock 19 and hk usp compact. I went to the chattanooga gun club and is dumb as it sounds im not use to a bunch of other loud a** guns going off while im trying to learn to shoot. One guy had a magnum research desert eagle and it was painful. Just want to be able to get some training in without all te distractions. Also looking to get into AR building.

We could do that sometime. Best place I know is in polk county though. You just have to pay for parking. No membership dues because its a state park. I took Indy to Fugate's, they have an indoor range but they dont allow high powered rifles inside. So no ARs.:machgun::gun:

Yea sounds good. How bad ia the 40 cal for recoil? I keep hearing its "snappy" I really want to shoot a 1911, god i love that gun but ive heard its a hard recoiler you have any ar's?

40s not much more than a 9mil but there is a difference. I'd like to find a kimber 1911 but they cost. Yeah I got an AR, it's my baby. Building an AR is the way to go. You get what you want without getting what you don't need. I'm planning on building an AR-10 before long.

Id possibly get a 40 for a ccw then if i could handle it and shoot it accurately which is what matters. Im looking at getting a14.5 BCM upper for a build, what kind did u build out of curiousity? i really wanted an ACR when magpul designed it but bushmaster effed it up as usual..:(

I didn't build mine, it was a my 1st. Mine is a Bushmaster and I've just added add-ons. Thats why I say building one is cheaper because I had to take off a bunch of parts. But that was before I got to know about them.
I have built a few for friends though. Mostly DPMS. When I build the ar10 I'll probably do a DPMS.

Right now I'm working on revamping my SKS. Looking for a new stock now. Looking at the Tapco Timbersmith in wood now. Wood just looks more refined too me.

Tapco makes some good stuff. Yea i agree about the wood thing. You seen the arsenal Ak's?

Yeah their badass. I don't know if you Know this or not but an AR can be built just as dependable as an AK now. I'm thinking of converting mine, but for the money I would just as soon build another.

When might you want to do this shooting thing.

na i have been working a lot and trying to work out twice a day. haven't had much more time to look into guns since i went shooting with V&V
