this is how i see it for a few recruits.

Clear=vol confidence 100%
Moore=vol 95% wilcox very confident
Richardson=90% i wont believe he signs somewhere else til i see it.
Mackey=vol 70%
Dawson 50/50 hope im wrong but i think instate/coach pressure will be to much.
Jernigan 30% very tough pull out of florida
maggitt 50/50

the columbus ga recruit, despite what you've seen and read this past week, a couple of the coaches are still very confident here. ill advise you to take my stance on this one, do not believe til you see the dotted line signed.

some of these are alot of guessing on my part or what im feeling from the coaches. ill know alot more before tues evening. dont expect any suprise signings that just come out of nowhere, the biggest suprise imo would be Jernigan.

Thanks skeet.

I think Clear and Richardson are Vols.Dawson and Moore would be great.Really NEED Wright or Jernigan.

Never underestimate the power of prayer, both on Tim's part and Volnation's. I'm praying UT is the best place for him to develop over the next 4 years.

Oh please...We should be praying that he comes here? You've gone a little too far with that one...

skeeter, from all of us at VN: thanks for sharing all the info. Without a few posters like you, many of us here would be stealing the wifes nerve pills, hittin the bottle or at each others throats worse than usual these last couple of weeks. I know some still are, but with a little bit of positive info like this, most are finally beginning to believe again. Even if we don't sign all that we want this year, we are seeing that our coaches do indeed know how to recruit. Look out BCS, Tennessee is heading your way. Our DD(diesel dually) has the pedal down.

Well that leads me too believe that your percentage is too high on every recruit. 50/50 means you dont have a feeling either way.

Why has he gone to far?!?!
You may not believe (and if not, why even comment) but Jernigan stated he was going to pray on it so why should we not? Could not hurt ya know!

Got a normal distribution curve? Come on, 50/50 means it could go either way because of home state pressure he is getting. Don't overanalyze it Dr. Phil, just get your beer ready for Wednesday!

Let me get this straight...you are praying that an 18 year old kid signs with your football team? :crazy:

Did not say I was but should not blast the poor guy because he is praying on it. I have heard worse requests I assure you. People take football serious and if they think God can help, well I am not going to say he shouldn't.

Take whatever we can get to get Jernigan to sign. Was not trying to argue religion but only to say... let the guy pray on it if he likes.

Could be right.

Jernigan should be praying.Thats the best thing one can do when one is faced with an important decision.

It would be perfectly alright for someone else to pray that he makes the best decision....whether it be Tennessee or not.

Sure, I don't know what constitutes as prayer worthy...but to me with all the horrible things in the world and all things considered don't you think praying a kid comes to play for your football team seems pretty silly and insignificant?

actually i think dawson was a vol when he left knox. i just think the pressure hes recieving about rite now will mount up on the kid. thats why i put the 50/50 on him. dont buy in to the pr game his hc is saying to the media, this guy pretty much promised uk he would deliver lamar.

I can understand completely now, if indeed he was the "big fish" that was being talked about that the staff was wanting to keep his recruitment quite. Things have heated up here at the end, because before it didn't seem as if we were in it with him because his recruitment was being kept quite. Now the pressure is building, but hopefully we hold on to him.

Putting on the power T in Danville would take some balls. I believe he wants to come here but is too concerned about pleasing those around him.

Fair enough, just thought it was strange you said 50/50, and then went on to say the instate pressure would be too much.

When we get him atleast we'll know he has some stones.

Man hope so, I really like this kid...as we get closer I think he will go to UK...that pressure has to be enormous, those losers in Kentucky must be selling him the moon.
