oh ive heard the same on Moore, but noone at ut is closer to moore than wilcox. wilco believes hes a vol so ill go with that.
Dawson? i think he sucumbs to the pressure to stay in state even tho a few coaches feel very good about him.

Ah, so the source variance is less than it appears, it's just how y'all are interpreting it. Either way, I hope your call on Moore is right and his is right for Jernigan and Dawson.

i know it's a dead period between now and wednesday. so coaches cannot contact any recruits. are recruits allowed to initiate contact? let's say dawson wants to call up dooley on monday evening to let him know where he's decided to sign on wednesday. is that allowed?

this is what I want to know. How did Kiffin get to tell Alshon "pumpin' gas" the night before if it was a dead period?

Skeeter, who would you say is our best recruiter?

wilcox, smith, chaney baggett, and hiestand are underrated imo. thompson maybe the best overall recruiter. dooley is very good in the homes and with the family which usually wins over the recruit.

I was just wandering how Coach Wilcox has done on the recruiting trail? I see alot of the recruits talking about Coach Chuck Smith and Coach Dooley, but not alot about Wilcox.

if you ever get the chance to hear coach wilcox speak at any event or pretty much anywhere in general he will get you pumped. be in a office with the man for 20 minutes talking football and you just want to go out and hit something.

Skeet, do you know the quick story about Wilcox and Texas? Was he offered the job? Why did he turn it down? Why did he stay? Is he happy here?

he loves it here. mack brown is very arrogant, pretty much assumed he could get who ever he wanted. wilcox said thx but no thx. he likes the way dooley is doing things and understands he will have the players he needs tob e successful very soon.
i think he done a great job last year once you consider the injuries to an already depleted depth chart. i think we'll be the ut of old in 2012. our offense should be very good next year, probably gonna be another year of growing pains on defense tho. depends how the jucos turn out and how our lbers shake out. barring injuries i think the d-line will be pretty solid.

im fairly confident lamar left knox pretty much a vol. hopefully the kid goes with his heart. his hs coaches are not gonna make things easy for him, you can bet the farm on that.

I think what you are seeing is different opinions on chances with recruits from different coaches. Coach Smith vs. Coach Wilcox vs. Coach Chaney.

Skeeter, do you think we got in the game too late for Jernigan? How do the coaches feel about his decision?

yes i think we got in to late. the kid has a great relationship with the fsu staff and grew up a gator fan. would love to see him come here, stranger things have happened.

Never underestimate the power of prayer, both on Tim's part and Volnation's. I'm praying UT is the best place for him to develop over the next 4 years.

it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to play for CDD & CCS. TJ

If we got a 50% chance, that speaks volumes.

I understand that we've done a great job getting in on Jernigan late, but how come there was no interest sooner? Were we doing something wrong that just got fixed? Did something new pop up? Was it just getting lost in the shuffle until the end when persistence paid off with a visit? Or do we know?

He was planning an earlier visit, but cancelled when Bennie went to Texas. He's big on the S&C coach because of the amount of time the players spend with them.

Richardson, Clear, Wright and Maggitt are supposedly UT leans. For the #5 if there are 5 I say Dawson.
