43 Things That Will Make You Feel Old

Out in the sticks where I live we could only get 2, 4, and 5. They were all snowy. We could turn the antennae to help a little. We rented a VCR most weekends and would get several movies. A cousin had a video store.

To this day cable is not available here. It's satellite or nothing.

With a cousin having a video store to rent movies, you probably felt like a privileged person. I bought my first DVD player for $500 dollars & it was a beautiful thing when you could tape TV programs & watch them at a later time. You could tape a football game on one channel & watch another game at the same time. Fantastic technology....haha.

You know really VCRs haven't been gone that long. I was watching a Seinfeld rerun the other day and George was in a video store renting a movie. That was in the mid to late 90s.

no comment from me in this thread because how many of you people remember the original "Lost in Space" on TV or the original "Twilight Zone" on TV that was in black & white?? :) That tells you where I am.

I do. Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Dobie Gillis, Sid Ceasar, Amos 'n' Andy, etc.

What's made me feel old is growing up I was always younger than professional athletes.

Now they're retiring at my age.

My man, Slydell....wasup dog??? I used to love Amos & Andy....still do when I can ever watch it. I was heartbroken when they (naacp) had it taken off the air.

my youngest son graduates from high school this Saturday

I remember when Magnum PI, the A Team, and Murder, She Wrote were first-run prime time shows

I've seen ET, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Top Gun, and the original Star Wars trilogy in a theater as they originally appeared

I remember when Kiss unmasked

I've drank New Coke, Pepsi Clear, and Pepsi Free

I remember when Taco Bell's Mexican pizza was called "Pizzazz"
Now I feel old.
