Just remember, and I know we all do, but I don't think we quite appreciated last year that he came into the SEC and played every snap after missing his entire senior year!

He didn't play anything near every snap last year. He was in on some obvious running downs and that was about it until Shy went down and he was forced into the lineup

he'll have to deal with double-teams all throughout the season, but they can't double-team everybody...:)

GO VOLS!

I hope he gets double teamed on every play! If so, the poor RB will get hurt by the other All-SEC linemen on D!:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

And when a DL is standing straight, he loses.

Body lean and MOMENTUM are key. We called this leverage. Explosion is the snap generated from the haunches/legs; this stops the forward motion of the opposing OL and allows the DT control. Keeping shoulders and feet parallel to the LOS is important. And you don't run around a block, you push through it (unless you are stunting).

Middle school wants their playbook back. I kidd but in a is he really kidding kinda way. I didnt feel the need to explain myself on first post as I feel most people know that isn't a good sign if hips are in full extension.

Maybe he had good technique and we saw just a bit of bad going on.

Its going to be exciting to see this team in action this year. Kongbo added to the mix these guys are going to dominate.

He's clearly been working his butt off , no pun intended. It's awesome to see that kind of dedication and commitment from one the younger guys. I'm not going to underestimate the impact of the vets on the squad as well !! I believe they're leaving a legacy with the foundation they continue to build ! IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE !!! GBO !!

Damn, I'd get on the other side of the street if I ever saw him walking in public. That man is 315 lbs of pure muscle

You gotta be kidding me. :thud:

Its amazing how much Kahlil has changed his body.

He's 6'3" 315 lbs of ripped muscle now.

Can't wait to watch him play this year.

He will be learning to play differently, with more technique and less just pushing everyone around.

No way. His legs are huge.

Idk, man. 315 is so big if you are lean. Consider...when Arnold was bulking he'd walk around at like 250 and he was 6' 2". Arnold had bigger arms, shoulders, and chest and likely bigger legs too. Mack has a thicker toros but i don't think he's making up 65 lbs there. I guess i need to see full body picture.

Here he is with Butcher, who happens to be those exact dimensions (6'2, 250lbs)

Our D-line rotation could be stupid. Teams that don't have very good o-lineman are going to be holding a ton. Could get unfair.
