3 weeks and no Aguilar reports.

Just think it’s odd that after being in Knoxville for three weeks, there have been no reports about what the new QB thinks about things or what his new coaches and teammates think about him.
I have to agree. With how much media coverage this team gets, it’s curious - but I don’t see it as a positive or negative for Joey - it is what it is and worth noting that it’s strange

IIRC, the team has been on break between semesters. AP said he's been watching film with coaches, at Heup's house watching film, and throwing to what few players stayed on campus during the break.

I'm pretty sure they start summer workouts this week. Could be next week. I will do some more digging and see if I can find that info.

I am also pretty sure you aren't going to be satisfied with whatever reports do come out because it will be minimal until fall camp starts in August since almost no media is allowed during summer workouts.

not many team mates around at this time. They will be coming in next week. Doubt he has met more than a dozen team mates.

He is spending a lot of time with coaches but they are not doing press conferences.

What exactly are you looking for ?!? It’s basically dead period in May until guys get back on campus. He’s learning the offense. No real news will be relevant until we see him in fall camp
We need to know if he likes Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken and if his new apartment is comfortable.

I appreciate you posting what AP said. I don’t expect to hear a lot until fall camp, so that was good to know.

We didn’t hear anything about Hendon Hooker either and he was absolutely awful in that Orange and White game appearance he first had. I did t think he would ever see the field and he turned out pretty dang good.

Hoping the same thing happens here, would be hysterical.

Not that such things matter anymore but aren't there NCAA rules about off season official workouts and such?

I've no doubt Aguilar is putting in work but Jeez, it's off season and he likely has a family and life that doesn't involve UT Football.

I know. It's unthinkable that things in his life might matter more than football but it might be that the kid has a right to NOT live entirely in a college and college athletics bubble.

“He looks more explosive. He’s put on 5 pounds of muscle while trimming down. His connection with the receivers is really solid, and the QB room is all very supportive of one another. He’s a guy who can make all the throws, and he’s really glad to be here and show Vol Nation what makes him an elite prospect. He finally feels ‘at home’ in Knoxville.” -Some Source, probably

Does this help?

If he’s being paid one million dollars he better be busting his ass. All of them should be honestly. I’ve got zero doubt that he is. Heupel doesn’t put up with BS I trust his judgment

So you think they are employees, pro football players, eh?

Guess what, even pros have off season. Get out of here with the "we're paying him....."

The Chiefs are paying Mahomes but they don't own him.

Exactly what has happened so far.
