Almost as amazing that another school is close. And that 9 or 10 schools have more than 50% of their roster at that level.
Why are the scales like that? I get the rank part, but the percentage part on the x axis is confusing to me.
What I see is that there is not as significant a gap in talent when your team is somewhere between 40 and 80% four and five stars. Jmo
I think you're reading it wrong. The top graph is the percentage graph which shows only the top 4 teams with over 50% 4 and 5 stars. TN is fifth with what looks like just shy of 40%, like 38% 4 and 5 stars.
that's how I read it anyways. Correct me if i'm wrong OP.

So we should win 10 + scheduled games with our talent?
I only waste my free nerd time on stuff that matters.
I also did all of this in about 10 minutes before coffee and I forgot Texas A&M.
It's really amazing how much of Bama's roster consists of 4 and 5 stars.
You're both kind of correct. These are the schools with >50% of their roster composed of 4 and 5 star recruits.
Alabama
Ohio State
USC
Georgia
Florida State
LSU
Michigan
Auburn
Clemson
Notre Dame
And you got Tennessee's numbers almost dead on. Fifth in the SEC, 12th overall in terms of rankings.
