TTU list Bamgboye at 6'11" and 220lbs (he was also previously at VCU with Hill)

Guessing he had an injury or something, only played in 21 games. 16.8mpg, 4.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.7bpg 50.8% FG and 71.1% FT

I think Tennessee has interest in both Jayden Hastings & Luke Bamgboye, obviously there’s interest in some of those top end guys like Diop & Thiam, but not only are they incredibly expensive both guys are looking to bring along coaches with them, and that’s not really a game we play. Obviously they still remain locked in on Juke Harris, and there’s some contact with Freeman camp, other than that it kind of feels like waiting and seeing who else maybe jumps in over the next ~36 hours.

Obviously things can change with Juke, do you feel Vols close it out with him?

Lady Vols got a couple of commits from England, or they have one and they are about to get another in Fatmata.

Bamgboye is also from England.

If I were Kim English I be burned out to . Chappell hill offers nothing . It’s in the middle of nowhere in a boring state … it’s a trash for a school . All crystal balls still point hike to the Vols . Untill that changes im not worried . Just going through nba process get information , can’t blame him. When that’s done process . He will be on the boat on this great vol team coming together by Barnes . Would t doubt he is our number one scoring option even if Nate decides come back

Good teams are looking for a shot eraser at the 5. Two final four teams featured a center ranked in the top 6 for block rate (Mara and Ivisic). Several of our targets this offseason are also on that list, such as Najai Hines (2nd) and Somto Cyril (11th).

Luke Bamgboye is not on the list due to injury. However, if you go back a year he was 2nd last year.

Incidentally, miles Rubin was 12th last year and 20th this year.

Damn, whats with all the hate on North Carolina? I'm a huge TN fan but I live and Charlotte and honestly find NC to be a great place to live. Don't really go to Chappell hill very often, but athletics aside, UNC is a very good school (academically).

Anyway, still hope Juke picks TN.

I believe Tennessee thinks that the 7 footers cost too much. They are taking a different approach.

Nothing about UT’s portal activity this year should make anyone think that they won’t go after a specific player due to money.

Yeah that was the other lineup I was thinking. But feel like they're going to want Lundblade on the court as a catch and shoot option until we get a better 2/3 scorer (like Juke).

But...Dai Dai is a great 3 point shooter himself, so I could see Lundblade being off the bench and letting Dai Dai be the starting option that is a catch and shoot guy.

Adding Juke will make this a scary and deep offensive team. Just imagine a Barnes team running people out of the gym.

Same. Hastings is way more filled out even if he's a tick shorter.

Brown is 6'9" 250lbs...Rubin is 6'9" 220lbs. Washington Jr. 6'9" 205lbs... we have good length, and I expect Rubin, Washington both to be adding weight/strength.

What we don't have in our current frontcourt is a bucket getter. Freeman is exactly that and athletic enough to switch and guard as well as Felix.

Plus I think they're going to take 2 more bigs and 1 will be a pure size guy.

I haven't seen any Rubin highlights, but I thought he was a scoring big as well.
