I would say if Estrella is getting offers for double what we are willing to pay him, he’s 100% gone. He’s not taking that big of a discount to stay here, even if he seems to like the staff and the team.

Yea if anyone offers to double my salary and my current company wont get close, there are very few scenarios that I wouldnt bolt for that.

I trust Barnes/staff to make the calls that are needed to be competitive. They are basically batting about 90 percent in the portal era as far as roster construction goes.

Weird to say, but Estrella (or Phillips) isn't a great fit for next year's roster at a significant NIL amount. The returning post defense would suffer without Okpara, which will look pretty bad if not addressed, especially since we are likely to prioritize scoring options for our incoming wing players.

Well now we need an Estrella and an Okpara replacement. One body that somewhat fills both isn’t enough.
