Joni Ernst’s Latest Challenger Once Boasted of Sharing Playboys With His Moms: 'Only Rule? They Got First Dibs'

Iowa state senator Zach Wahls now calls his years-old online musings on porn 'normal guy' behavior

Joni Ernst's latest Democratic challenger, Iowa state senator Zach Wahls, once boasted of sharing Playboy magazines with his moms, something he now says is "normal guy" behavior that will help him connect with male voters.

Wahls launched his campaign on Wednesday, saying it would focus on "issues that Iowans care most about." He first emerged on the Iowa political scene as a college student nearly 15 years ago, when a speech he delivered to the state legislature on his two moms went viral. Wahls sat for a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session shortly thereafter, discussing his porn preferences, an affinity he once had for "the Asians," and the Playboys he shared with his moms.

"My moms bought me a subscription to Playboy when I was 16 at my request," Wahls, now 33, wrote in the November 2011 Reddit thread. "Only rule? They got first dibs."

Wahls also shared that he used to watch lesbian porn, but "not so much anymore." Instead, Wahls said he developed a love for "tall brunettes" by following "Amateur Allure," a site that features "nice amateur beauties" engaging in graphic sex acts.

Rs will keep the Senate. Don't see 4 races they are losing. Maine and NC could be lost but dont really see 2 more...

And not sure Ossoff keeps GA for the Ds...

depends on if Dooley is his competition, and how smart Ossoff is.

if it is Dooley, all Ossoff needs to do is run images of Dooley in orange with a power T, and he won't sniff a majority.

if there was a decent R running Ossoff would probably lose.

Fierce Trump critic Jasmine Crockett shakes up high-stakes Senate Race

Progressive Democrat Launches her Senate Campaign just before the filing deadline for candidates in Texas

Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas, the progressive firebrand and vocal critic of President Donald Trump and Republicans, has filed paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate, according to a party spokesperson.

A spokesperson for the Texas Democratic Party confirmed to Fox News Digital on Monday that Crockett had filed paperwork to run for the Senate. She is expected to officially launch her Senate campaign on Monday evening in a race that may determine if the GOP holds its majority in the chamber next year.

Crockett's campaign announcement, which was expected, will likely further rock a high-profile and heavily contested race in Texas, which, on the Republican side, includes incumbent Sen. John Cornyn and GOP primary rivals state Attorney General Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt.

But Democratic state Rep. James Talarico, a former middle school teacher and Presbyterian seminarian who is also seen as a rising Democratic Party star, remains in the Senate primary, setting up a face-off between two surging contenders with formidable fundraising.

Jasmine Crockett Jumps to Lead in Texas Dem Senate Primary: Poll

1765827844088.png
Left-wing congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) holds an 8-point advantage over state representative James Talarico in Texas's Democratic Senate primary, according to the first poll released since Crockett entered the race.

The survey of likely Democratic voters, released on Friday by Texas Southern University, found Crockett with a comfortable margin at 51 percent and Talarico trailing at 43 percent. Six percent of voters were unsure. The poll is the first to come out since Crockett entered the race, a move that caused one primary rival, Colin Allred, to drop out.

John Kennedy Mocks Jasmine Crockett's Texas Senate Campaign, Says The 'voices in her head are not real'

Louisiana GOP senator dismisses Democrat's campaign as unserious and out of step with voters

Rep. Jasmine Crockett announced her Senate campaign this month, and Sen. John Kennedy had sharp words about the prospect of her joining the chamber. He dismissed Crockett’s Senate bid as unserious and out of step with Texas voters.

"They need to tell her that the voices in her head are not real," Kennedy said Sunday on "My View with Lara Trump."

Kennedy, however, said he does not believe Crockett’s campaign will go far. He called her "wrong on every single issue" and predicted she will lose her bid and "be leaving Congress."

Abdul El-Sayed Proposed Commuting All Sentences for Juveniles Facing Life in Prison. The Plan Would Grant Early Release to Some of Michigan's Most Violent Killers.

Abdul El-Sayed, a candidate in the 2026 Michigan Democratic primary for the state’s open Senate seat, campaigned in 2018 to commute all sentences for juveniles sentenced to life in prison in the state—a policy that would grant early release for a school shooter, a child rapist and murderer, and other heinous killers.

El-Sayed promised the reforms during his unsuccessful bid for Michigan governor, saying he would "commute all sentences for juveniles sentenced to life in prison and raise the age of adult prosecution" from 17 to 18, as well as "explore commutation options" for any juvenile sentenced to more than 25 years and reduce the state’s "maximum sentence to 25 years" for minors, according to an archived copy of his campaign website.

If Kemp was running I'd say that was a highly probably flip, but not with the current lineup. Dems will pour massive amounts of money into the race. I think Trump is generating a lot of apathy and there will not be a lot of motivation for moderates to vote Republican.

Impeachment whistleblower launches Senate campaign in Trump's home state: 'Our country is in chaos'

The National Security Council whistleblower who triggered the first impeachment against Donald Trump is running for Senate.

Alexander Vindman announced on Tuesday he is running in the president's home state of Florida as a Democrat seeking to oust Republican Senator Ashley Moody.

In his two-minute announcement video, the Ukraine-born candidate leans into his anti-Trump sentiment, claiming: 'This president unleashed a reign of terror and retribution, not just against me and my family, but against all of us.'

Jasmine Crockett concedes DEFEAT in Texas after Humiliating Loss to 'baby-faced assassin' James Talarico

Firebrand Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett conceded the Texas Senate Democratic primary on Wednesday morning after complaining about voting irregularities that delayed her decision.

James Talarico, a 36-year-old state representative who gained traction through a savvy social media strategy, defeated her, according to a call by the Associated Press early Wednesday morning.

His victory hands Democrats a fresh-faced nominee who many political observers believe will give the party a better chance to win over independents and - even some Republicans - in November's general election contest.

The Republican race between incumbent Senator John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton remains unsettled and headed to a bitter runoff to be determined on May 26.
