Progressive star Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, has conceded her race for the U.S. Senate after suffering an "embarrassing" defeat to a lesser-known Democrat, state Rep. James Talarico.

A second-term congresswoman widely seen as one of the top voices in the Democratic Party, Crockett lost her primary to Talarico. The defeat not only crushes Crockett’s hopes of serving in the Senate, but also places her political future in doubt as her House term ends in January.

Trump expected to order scandal-plagued Republican to QUIT vicious Texas Senate race​

President Donald Trump teased Wednesday that he would make an endorsement in the Texas Republican Senate race 'soon,' after incumbent Senator John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton qualified for a runoff.

The Atlantic reported Wednesday that Trump's advisers expect him to choose Cornyn, who already holds the seat, and slightly outperformed the MAGA favorite and scandal-plagued Paxton in Tuesday's vote totals.

If Kemp was running I'd say that was a highly probably flip, but not with the current lineup. Dems will pour massive amounts of money into the race. I think Trump is generating a lot of apathy and there will not be a lot of motivation for moderates to vote Republican.

The strongest R's that could bring people to vote will be hte one's that can platform the issues w/o invoking Trump.
