Feel like we won't know anything about anyone until a player signs after last year's debacle. Barnes will keep the tightest of circles

Robbie Avila (Cream Abdul-Jabbar) probably makes his bunnies and free throws. He’s listed as a junior after 2 years each at Indians State and Saint Louis. I don’t know how that eligibility math works anymore.

Feels weird to already have one eye on next season when MM still hasn’t started. Hopefully this year’s team surprises us a bit and kicks this can down the road.

That being said, fix the problem with the roster and get three bona fide scorers/studs please!

Was holding off to start this up until I saw a name enter that I have heard Tennessee has interest in, now that that’s happened figured we’d fire this thing up.

We desperately need 2-3 guys who can shoot the 3 ball. It would have been such a difference if we still had Gainey this season.

The 2 I posted are 2 names I had heard they were interested in
I'd assume Belmont to Tennessee in terms of defensive responsibility would be a shock to the system for Lundblade. Perhaps Barnes is willing to forgive some lapses on that end for some shooting.

Would be happy to continue searching mid major ranks for players. It has worked out reasonably well for Barnes. I think we need at least 3 from the portal. PG, 2G and SF would be first and depending on what happens on our roster and with pending high school recruits can fill in a defensive shot blocker and stretch 4 as needed.

Juke Harris (Wake Forest) would come at a premium if he enters portal and doesn’t go into NBA draft. He can flat out play. If I remember correctly we were among his final offers out of high school.

A ton of SEC schools will be portal hunting this year. Georgia potentially brings a lot of players back but that is about it.

Many considered Tennessee to even perhaps be the frontrunner for Harris before he picked Wake.

Knecht was a very poor defender when he got here, I think there’s some realization they are more likely to be able to teach defense rather than teach shooting
