Good pick up for Miller. Good to have a veteran pg, especially one with three years under Kim Mulkey. I think her game will transfer to that league better as well.

Trick there is just avoiding the drama train. She, Wolfenbarger and Smith had an acrimonious love triangle this season that made for a spicy locker room at times.

For what it’s worth, Coach Lazo did start following Janiah on instagram yesterday. I’ve been checking every few days and Saturday was the first day he followed her from what I could tell. Interesting timing since she was rumored to have visited yesterday and some posters have been feeling confident she may have committed.

I also remember that there was a lot of secrecy during her last transfer process when she committed to UCLA and she may have only visited one school from what I could recall. There was certainly a gap between her rumored visit to UCLA and an announcement.

Regardless, all of this may mean nothing. Just reading the tea leaves. 😊

I think she’d be a perfect fit for the system though and solidify TN as a top 10 team going into next season. Just really need some three point snipers and should be good to go.

I don’t think Barker committed but do think she visited. Seems like South Carolina and Kentucky are also after her. A lot of their players followed her this week.

Both of those would be bad destinations where she would be in a really similar position to ucla. Kentucky and SC both have a lot of depth at the forward and tend to play a tight rotation.

I think we would be the front runner in terms of what we can offer her on the court. She would fill the only obvious hole in our roster at this point.

My sources confirm that these are accurate numbers.

But in all seriousness Ole Miss had 7 transfer out and 7 transfer in so they are even in regards to the transfer portal. They definitely traded up though... big time.
