Okay. I was saying that the other day about Tennessee but not many here acknowledges that. 6’4, 6’3, 6’2, 6’2, 6’0, 6’0’ 5’11, 5’11, and 5’9.
It’s not like they will be playing the Robertson and the Pauldo twins all on the court together at the same time.
Three more scholarships left so it’ll be interesting to see who is added from the portal.

Understood, but I wasn't trying to compare their size and strength to anyone else...just stating the fact they they will be formidable...💪

I wonder if Louisville will be her destination. However, she could always return home and play for Washington.

The name isn't actually that bad, Swahili orthography is just a bit weird here.

Mwenentanda is fairly self-explanatory, if a bit long. "Mwen" is pretty close to "when", it's the only syllable here that should be tough.

Ndjakalenga is pronounced "Enjakalenga"; the "d" goes with the j, not the n. N-djackalenga. But "j" in English already is a "dj" sound, [this fact plays into why "drum" becomes "djrum" in some dialects, like mine] so the d doesn't really do anything in the pronunciation; just Swahili orthography being different from ours.

The Texas pronunciation guide shortens it to just "Jackalenga", tho, as if the N is just entirely ignored anyway. So that makes it even easier.

As part of the terms of the House settlement, scholarship limits go away for next year, and it becomes a roster spot limit, which will be 15 for women’s basketball. You have the ability to place all players on your roster on scholarship, which Tennessee intends to do, Since women’s basketball already had 15 scholarships.

The judge in the case indicated that she was uncomfortable with so many current walkons losing their spots to roster limits in sports like football, swimming and track where there are currently significantly more student athletes than the future roster limit. There is a thought that the final settlement will include a grandfather period, where those athletes will be allowed to remain on a roster, but not on the scholarship until their careers have concluded.

However, the current expectation is that will not apply to sports like basketball, where the average roster size is the same or fewer than the future roster limit. Which means, if Darby stays on the roster, she will count against the limit and will likely be on scholarship. If they end up signing additional transfers that put them at or above 15, she will be given the opportunity to stay with the program to finish her degree.
