2025 Transfer Portal

You know, I'm a LVFL like so many of so, but right now, I feel, the staff really needs to throw us a bone or two...over the last 2-3 days, we seen so many great portal transfers built a natty threat too so many teams that are already very good...this has been tough [to say the least]...LadyVol fans want to eat too 😋...give us a little bit of air before the weekend, please 🙏 👀 LVFL 🧡💙🏀💙🧡
Nah. If Kim feels the need to play her cards close to the vest, deal with it.

Zero News and leakage is great news in my estimation.

It made the evening news in Nashville tonight that Nico may be looking for about $4 million for the coming year. If they give him that, how much more do they have to give some of the other players? You could put a really good WBB team together for less than $4 million.

I'm no expert on NIL (and don't want to be!), but does all of UT's NIL money come out of the same pot?
See ya, MF. Don’t let it hit ya, where the Good Lord, split ya.

14?? Did she know it?? I don't think something like that would be tolerated. Not even at UConn .
The girl lied about her age and then went on social media to clout chase the ordeal and even playing audio messages of Quadence saying paige hates the fans and really wishes they left her tf alone yada yada it spreaded like wild fire on Tik tok and UConn players chunked it up to a random person wanting clout off their programs name but deep down we all could see them disconnect from Q as the season went on as well as the fans .

Bless her heart. Loose lips.

eliza maupin from kansas state started following the vols, gabe, lexie barrier, and zee on IG. could be nothing but maybe there's interest

she's visiting nebraska this weekend. 6'3

Not a big name, but looks like a really good system fit. Super athletic and ACTIVE. I like this. Let's get her and Janiah.

What little we seen in those few clips just makes you question why wasn't she playing more. Like to see how she plays defense because her hops on offense is definitely there. The potential is definitely there.

I really think a few from SC will be leaving still, there’s no way all those players want to ride the pine. Lots of talent on that team.
These girls love playing for Dawn...love playing with each other....have opportunities to always compete for the title and are well compensated. That is enough to keep them there. These girls don't 'ride the pine' they all play lots of minutes. They play on national television and are followed nationally each and every game. What in the world would they leave that for? They have the best of both worlds. You also don't see UCONN lose players either. Dawn supports the girls even if they do transfer out. The program nor the players are toxic and the environment plus the fams support will always be a draw for the best players even if they have fewer minutes....geez....coming off the bench at South Carolina is better than starting at most programs. Play before 3 to 4,000 vs 17,000 on average? Come on....get real.

Ryan Sylvia Vol Report gave out three names Lady Vols are connected with on a recent podcast. He also game out McMahon which of course has committed to Ole Miss.

Kara Dunn - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Guard - ESPN

Kara Dunn who played for Georgia Tech last season was the first name. She looks to have really good stats and shoots the three at 35 percent and overall 49 percent so that is really excellent for a guard.

Of course T'yanna Todd is one of the names we have been associated with since the portal opened.

We had heard S'myah Smith of LSU as well. She only took 170 shots last season so her average is fine for taking such a limited amount of shots. She averaged 22 minutes. The big stat that you see is 51 blocks which means she is a solid inside defensive presence. All three of these players would help Smith more than the other two.

He gave these names, but also said that we were in with all the top names in the portal and like we know so are another 50 teams so a lot of competition.

With Aoki Lee missing almost the whole season you would wonder why she didn't play more.

IMO best case scenario at post for us is Smith. Otherwise its probably a development project. Unless of course we pull off a miracle with Williams.

Curious about Del Rosario. Certainly not a fit for us but wonder if Mizzu is an option for her. Kellie was one big fat LSU last minute cash drop away from signing her out of hs.

Del Rosario is going on a visit to Va Tech today so that is one choice for her. Haven't heard a word about Weimar guess schools are afraid of her health as she didn't play a minute at NC St after going there in the last portal. The last season she played she was 19.8 ppg and 9.8 rebounds. If she were healthy would certainly be a player to consider. Okot most likely to Sc, Williams may be a UConn lean only ones saying that thus far are UConn fans. Cunningham another post has not been in the news lately was some talk about SC.

The KState roster was interesting this season. They only had one true center so when Lee was out they had to go to a 5 out offense and he split the time with her, Sanchez and Lester pretty much evenly every game.

They had 6’2”, 6’2”, 6’1” 6’ on the perimeter and then ran 6’4”, 6’4” and 6’3” in off the bench just to wear out the other teams big. When Lee was available Maupin, Lester and Sanchez didn’t see much time. (All elected to transfer I think)

Maupin has a high motor and could score in transition which was not KStates game at all. They were a half court offense team trying to break you down for a three or a layup.

I don’t think she’d be a major part of what we do next season but is a very athletic player who can give you 6-10 minutes a game without making a lot of mistakes. Very few turnovers, doesn’t take bad shots and play really hard defensively. Great player to have in practice.

Del Rosario isn’t anywhere close to as good as her hype out of HS and I don’t think she fits our system very well anyway.
For sure, thats why I said she may be a fit for Kellie. She was def overrated, got overpaid just to take her fm us. Didn't Kim even take a guard as part of a pkg deal for ADR? A guard who didn't last for a cup of coffee at LSU.

UConn fans giving Regan Beers energy right now on Williams. Remember last season? When the whole team followed Beers and their fan base was like, “that’s it, done deal, Beers to UConn.”

Then the next day she committed to OU and they all unfollowed her and all the UConn fans started calling her a MAGA supporter.

Yeah she took Angelica Velez as part of a package deal to land ADR. Everyone thought she was the next Cardoso but she doesn’t have that motor or desire to be that good.

Velez is at Syracuse now. Coach Jack seems like a good fit for her but her role was limited playing behind McMiller this season.
