That’s a great point and as you said it’s certainly a marker that a team in this system with this level of talent can reach.
In the NCAA tourney, in those two wins the team averaged 91.5 ppg.
Those are remarkable numbers for any team. Against Texas, we started the 4th qtr tied at 50-50.
Turnovers with 9 coming in the 4th qtr hindered any chances at a run to come out of that game with the win.
Had we reached 70 points in that game which we missed by just 11 points it would’ve been enough to get to the Elite 8 in year 1.
When you are as detailed oriented, knowledgeable, and naturally gifted as a coach as CKC the blueprint she is building from doesn’t show up in the mindset of the average fan. She ain’t building with no role players, the 5 McDAAs in addition to 6 Top 70 players and portal class is built for battle and bound to win their fair share.

Moore probably doesn't want to be the #3 scoring option in her final year when she could be the #2 or #1 option on another offense-minded team. She's already proven herself in the SEC and now wants some gaudy stats to get a shot at a WNBA roster.

As has been posted earlier, Vandy does not have the courses she needs to pursue/complete her Master's degree, so I don't think it's what you're saying at all.

I can’t see this player as a #1 or #2 option on many teams in a Power-4 conference but she can provide offensive scoring that’s true.

That might be the case, I have no inside info. But I'll wait until we find out where she winds up before I'll accept that conclusion.

You take everything out of context. For the most, the players that many have pushed for Coach Caldwell to sign are players that she has seen in the past year that may not be an ideal fit to her system.
She knows this better than you or I could ever dream of in terms of building a roster.
She may or may have not seen a player from Utah play in person but that has nothing to do with the facts.
She seen Florida State in person coaching at Tennessee.
She seen Florida in person when coaching at Marshall and Tennessee. She seen Mississippi State in person at Tennessee.
She seen Ohio State in person. What does Glenville State have to do with?

Please review your original post and tell me where you identify specific players at specific schools that CKC has supposedly seen in person.

The strange thing about all this is some of those coaches proclaimed how they hated the portal. Now they are going out there and trying to get every top player in it. I don't blame them, but why hate something your a big part of particiapting in.

I think there’s a very good possibility the silence around portal recruitment is a choice and doesn’t mean there isn’t any. Kim seems very close to the vest.

Also true the best players are going off the boards every day many to our closest competitors

Not leave those scholarships empty. May not be who we want or the elite players though

Word is she already has a final 3. TN isn't one of them. LSU, NC, and UConn .
