Don't get me wrong I like our freshmen class, great recruiting effort by CKC and crew.... But I am a little dissappointed in our transfer portal movement, really expected we would land one of the big names with our NIL and recruiting resources, and the positive momentum that CKC has surged into the program..

Hopefully we can still land some quality transfers, there are some left that I like, but really hoped for at least one of the top names.

Fulwiley needs to leave, too much potential to be recruited over and played over. If Raven Johnson returns they will have issues.

I hear you and Latson is obviously a player you don’t say no to if there’s interest, but I’m not worried (yet) — our biggest needs are post play/size and 3 point shooting. Latson and McMahon would not have really helped on either front, and would’ve cut into minutes for our freshmen.

Yes, UCLA made the Final 4 this year, but almost their entire freshmen class is in the portal I imagine at least in part because of all the transfers they brought in last year. There are trade-offs, and I just hope that we are recruiting to build a long-term successful program rather than just going after the biggest names.

Fulwilley is probably getting so much money there she don't care if she plays or not. The freshmen coming in are going to be at the end of the bench Makeer and McDowell. Not going to br any court time for them next season.

I'm not freaking out or anything just saying I am disappointed because I would hope that with our resources and NIL and Lady Vol brand we would have been able to land one of the elite players...

yes there are a lot of girls in the portal, and we may be okay.. but I don't want to rely on the freshmen, they may earn a role but I want some proven players to build competition, and fill the holes we are losing in production.

There are a few I like but I am worried we wont land them either. We need to be aggressive if we want to return to women's F4's in this crazy tough SEC let alone NCAA. with the UCONNS, Texas, LSU, UCLA, USCe, USCw. We gotta get our talent to that level.

I would like to see us committ some post players wonder what the problem is Williams is taking a long time to decide. Must be a bidding war. I like Okot wish we could get her. Kneepkens and Todd would shore up the three point shooting.

Not sweating the portal at all. Last year, how many of y'all were saying "we have to get Zee Spearman" prior to her announcement?

Sure, it is great when you can sign a portal player who is already putting up big numbers but lots of talented players enter into the portal because they are under performing, maybe due to a bad fit with the system or coach (Zee again).

I am confident the staff will find the players they need but those players might be under the radar types, rather than prize transfers everyone is drooling over.

Oh, it's such a huge deal. I doubt we'll EVER see another elite player. Hell, we'll be lucky to sign even the bad ones!!
