kiyomi's manager or whoever said they are looking for the biggest NIL deal possible. personally i hope the vols pass. team chemistry is important and the vols have already lost a ton of leadership and really coachable players like sam, jewel, jillian, etc. It’s a reason schools didn’t recruit her from the jump I mean yea she can score but she gone have to kill that me ball, attitude, and chill with those posts on social media

talaysia and kiyomi...i don't think their games are a good fit at all.
Coach yo got them ranked, beating ranked teams, and making it out the 2nd round pretty sure ole miss and alumni starting to help now because let’s be honest nobody cared about ole miss wbb before she got thereAnd where is Ole Miss getting that money? Are we expected to believe Yo is working with a bag like that?
I truly appreciate Coach Yo's obvious passion and devotion to the game and to her players, and I think she's a good coach/motivator. I admire the fact that she has elevated the status of Ole Miss basketball.Coach yo got them ranked, beating ranked teams, and making it out the 2nd round pretty sure ole miss and alumni starting to help now because let’s be honest nobody cared about ole miss wbb before she got there
And that my friend is the only red flagI truly appreciate Coach Yo's obvious passion and devotion to the game and to her players, and I think she's a good coach/motivator. I admire the fact that she has elevated the status of Ole Miss basketball.
That said, her decision to bring on an assistant with a reputation for inappropriate behavior toward players remains bothersome. We'll probably never know the truth of any of it, and that is unsettling.
The way that it happened so fast too
If it not by may 1The student athletic advisory committee agreed to reduce the length that the portal was open from 45 to 30days , which allowed changing the timing to this years date.
Some coaches wanted a close date no later than may 1 because of final exams and summer school enrollment so that players could be eligible at their new school.
Can't get link to work . But that is in the article.
And if they stay relatively "okay" (aka, they're consistently making it past the first two rounds of the tournament) then they will continue to get people. Also I feel like places like TCU, along with LSU/USC/UCLA, are the "flashy" schools right now. They're not what people consider more established/blue-bloods (like TN, UConn, Baylor, ND, and even to an extent right now, SCar) -- as in, they aren't schools with a long history of recent success in WBB so players want to feel like they can go to a school and leave their mark or make history.$$$ and players love Campbell
Also it maybe not all about money maybe they just like coach Yo and want to play for her. Sometimes you want to be around someone that looks like you and can relate more..Coach yo got them ranked, beating ranked teams, and making it out the 2nd round pretty sure ole miss and alumni starting to help now because let’s be honest nobody cared about ole miss wbb before she got thereAls
Oh, they were so big on TikTok maybe last year or so. Definitely have a social media brand as does LSU. And Iowa, despite having fans online, does not players who can go "viral" and promote the program and brand in the same way. the flashiness of some of these programs is a great point. And if they stay relatively "okay" (aka, they're consistently making it past the first two rounds of the tournament) then they will continue to get people. Interesting that Iowa doesn't seem to have quite the same pull, but I wonder if that's because some players might worry that they won't live up to the standards of CC.
Anyway, I have my own thoughts on this ... for some it makes sense, especially if they are from the area. In other cases ...
