We have a very good shot with Latson. She was interested in Tennessee coming out of high school and all reports say she has strong interest in Tennessee coming out of FSU now. Not saying "we got her" or anything but Latson is a fit for our style of play. Cotie has a few schools attached to her name right now and Tennessee is one of them. So you can be negative all you want but we have a very realistic chance for either of them.

Sometimes first choices are not the best choices. I don't think they want to pay to much to one player when there are players just as good or better that fall under the radar a little or don't get the press coverage or the hype. If certain players considered first choices are reasonable in their demands then they will be Lady Vols otherwise no.

If the coaches think they’re the best and first choice, that’s should tell u, that’s who they think the best fit is. So we are the only team that has to get under the radar players and be happy with it, while the top players go elsewhere?

Plus based on last season the coaches should know if they were paying attention that we need more rebounding power inside. More consistent three point shooting outside. I'm not sure either of the top two mentioned actually help that much in either category.

Imagine talking to a person that CONVINCES themselves that a team already with 5 McDAAs and another half dozen players in the Top 70 are settling for under the radar players.
We have multiple players on the team already that were ranked higher than McMahon and Latson out of HS.
We played and beat teams with both of these players on the court and our roster didn’t look overwhelmed by these players DarkPhoenix claims we miss out on at Tennessee.
They must be talking about a different Tennessee.
I don’t know what Serah Williams ranking was out of HS.
Either way, I say let the staff build and complete their roster. They know what players they need.

We need a lot actually, we also need a number 1 scoring option, and no I don’t think that players is on the roster right now. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Now that everyone has been able to see the style of play and constant substitutions, let’s see the caliber of players that will sign up for it.

Knowing what portal players can do on the court is easy. Discovering how they will be as teammates on the practice court and off is tougher to discern, and can't be done in a rush.

I think CKC has definitely re-established Tennessee as a destination school for the "right" players. Enough so that I think we will sign players who were offered more NIL elsewhere.

Definitely need better defense we were number two or three in scoring. We couldn't score more than some opponents.

Umm just because they were ranked higher doesn’t mean they were the better player. The way your wording comes out means you have an idea to what players they are looking at.

Latson can make a good team go from top 16 to top 4 with the right talent around her.

We have talent on the roster but I still think the roster isn’t a championship roster.

If we aren’t building the roster for championships to compete with the previous champions LSU &SC right now I get it.

Texas is also ahead of TN right now.
