Glad Ace is leaving as LVFL always makes the pill easier to swallow if they have graduated.

This is a net positive for us in the long run. Means we can take one more really good portal player who can contribute at an SEC level.

I despise programs that ask players to leave so they can recruit over them so I sincerely hope we did not do that and this was her decision.

Both Kentucky and Ole Miss have been accused of running players off this year. It’s just a bad look.

Really have to think this thing through of how many players we need and where cause it is 200 minutes and not enough to go around for 15 players.
Just some basic minutes Spearman 20, Cooper 20, Whitehorn 20, Boyd 15, M Pauldo 20, My Pauldo 15, Latham 15, Civil 15, Prawl 15, Hurst 10, that is 165 and most of the playing time left is post minutes. You get a player like Williams 20, and a elite shooter 15 that is 200. Some players not even playing the minutes they played this past season. You move up to that then going to squeeze someone out that needs to play. Wynn no minutes available.
See how they work it out, but were going to have three players that need to play that will be out of the rotation, 11 is the max most games so if your roster is 15 four players are out with none to minimal minutes. If that turns out to be freshmen suspect they will be gone the next season. Having 15 players with the ability to play is going to lead to some unhappy players just no way to satisfy that many.
Where we really had minutes was in the post. If we were going three or more in the portal probably should've not signed so many freshmen cause four of them are expecting normal playing time and there is a possibility that will not happen if we go for perimeter players over post players.
Really interested as to who were going after as we already have at least 9 perimeter players to play something like 120 minutes. I guess we can go four guards and that changes it up a little.

I guess they have a plan interested in how the roster looks when the portal is over.

somewhat related to the seeking of portal additions, if you have not looked at this years statistics, team and individual on the official site, particularly the stats on the 16 SEC games the team had only the spear hitting at an acceptable 3-point percentage. looking at the overall statistics versus opponents the record 8-8 is understandable.
none of the returning players demonstrated they were even average 3-point shooters.

Agree to much of the same and that might be true of some of the freshmen. If you going to live by the three then you need players that can shoot it like Kneepkens, Todd, Garzon others. Confident in the twins doing their part from the three not so sure it is the game of two of the others. Hurst may need time to develop SEC overall ability.
You look at a lot of the losses then you see another couple threes made in most of the games was a win instead of a loss. Overall team needs to be in the upper 30's shooting the three.
