Yeah, that's pretty much what I was getting at, I guess. Rice got a bag he wasn't necessarily looking for, and we had a price point we weren't looking to go over. If we were willing to cross over that threshold for one of these guards, Rice made more sense than Claude from a fit standpoint.

That's ridiculous and just further fuel for a case for someone like ZZ in his court hearing. Just random, arbitrary enforcement and application of a rulebook.

I’m with you, and seemingly is more and more ammo for these other guys. Freshman year he played in 18 games, that seems to be the trend, that through multiple seasons your missed games add up to like 30+, or in other words a full season. Obviously that’s not the rule at all, but seems to be the trend on most of these guys getting waivers from what I’ve seen.

What happened to McDowell? I know that came out around the same time Z filed for another year. Did he move on, did we move on, or is that someone we are still trying to add?
