I played against Dane Bradshaw / White Station Memphis at State 2 years in a row in high school when White Station went back 2 back. Dane did not even average the most points on his high school teams but he was Mr Tennessee basketball player of the year. He wasnt the best shooter in hs either btw... And when you played against him you quickly realized why he was Mr Tennessee basketball player of the year only averaging right at 10 points a game in high school as a senior and how crucial he was to winning and team success....I am pretty sure that Bradshaw had a wrist injury that affected his shooting, as well. It was a shame, because he was a really good player. One of my favorites.
As for Boswell, I think his shooting ability is way underrated. I think he needs to step up in the basics of passing and dribbling (unforced turnovers). It will be interesting to see his development in the upcoming season.
So the person that compared him with mashack (they are way different types of players with way different skill sets) BUT they are Both Comparable within the fact that they definetely impact winning without the need to score. They just impact Winning & their history of success backs that up.
