That's fair, tbh if I'm the staff hold out for Gainey otherwise roll with it.

Feel like staff is very high on Massamba, and reasonably high on Evans. If Boswell/Phillips put in some work, you have 5 off the bench who can chip in a couple of points every night. Still like the team but yeah sure I don't mind a Gainey addition!

I had a friend recently ask if I knew Sean Sparks who is a part of the Vol Vault. Today, I was sent a screenshot message of him on Facebook. I can say that this man is and has always been a fake insider. This man throws stuff at the wall and hopes it sticks. During football, I sent him a message to stop. He told me I had no connection to the University and proceeded to report and block me. Please do not listen to him.

I’ve been told the staff doesn’t expect a ton from Massamba, they like his long term potential but this year I would probably set your expectations for about whatever they are for Evans

Another example of selective highlight reels creating off-base expectations. He has lots of untapped potential. But we aren't seeing lots of little things in a highlight reel. The staff has watched full games. Seen every possession. I assume they see lots of small things that will need to be cleaned up before he is able to consistently perform at the SEC level.

I guess it depends on what you mean by “much”? 247’s update yesterday now has him Top 50, he played in OTE which is much better competition than HS so that should help him, physically he’s at a level that he’s ready for college, and he’s a guy that plays defense so we know Barnes will probably want to reward him…do I think he’s a 30mpg starter, no, but I do think he’s probably carves out a role as a 9-10 man depending on who else gets added to this roster and he has a chance at a consistent role.

I know who you’re talking about and have never not once seen him post/scoop something that wasn’t time-lined here first. He’s also one of the biggest babies I’ve ever seen.

It's about having another shooter who can come off the bench, ala Gainey, and provide defense and energy as well. Scoring droughts have been the death knell of some recent seasons, and a kid like this goes a long way to mitigate that situation.

Exactly my thoughts…. We still really need a reliable depth piece/a guy who’s good for 10ish points a game. Miles is that guy.

I 100% agree. Can't stand the arrogance that exudes off Vol Vault & Sean. I have completely blocked him & his group. He really likes Tony Basillio. Sean & his sources has been wrong more times than I can count. Yet he acts like a god when his connection gets something right. "Insiders" lol
