Doesn’t seem like it. There has been zero buzz and not one connected person or media member has even discussed it as a possibility.

These things often come out of nowhere. I don’t recall any buzz before Miles bailed on A&M or Adams decommitted from UConn right? That said it’s possible CRB is determined to hold on to that last scholly and may not even be back-channeling Wilkinson.

Yea that’s what I meant with what I said, felt like they just used the list of schools that were pursuing before he committed to A&M. My guess is he ends up at Georgetown given he already has a visit lined up.

Things can change quickly. At 2:30 ET today, I heard that his agent contacted us yesterday to tell us he’s back on the market with one scheduled visit to Gtown. We told him we did not want to re-enter a bidding competition for his services. Unless this becomes a really simple process, I don’t see it happening. We feel good about Amare as a plug and play option. That said, Amare was signed knowing we might bring Gainey back and/or sign another two. Nothing is impossible.
