Too bad this guy committed to Georgia already, Morrow recruited him from Georgia to Cal, arguably the best returning freshman in college basketball and is a bucket at the 2 guard spot
Honestly not sure how it works, portal has passed so he can’t enter, if he’s signed maybe he can get a release, if he hasn’t signed then I would assume fair game…not sure. But I’m with you, him added to that roster might have us preseason #1, definitely top 3/4 imo.Committed? Pfft. Even ink to paper is iffy these days. If there's a place/fit with this kid, I say make a call...or have someone who knows someone who knows the someones around the kid make a call. We are saving a spot in case someone presented. Gainey isn't likely and this might be a bird in hand?
One site described him as "relentless" on the recruiting trail. I'm more than down with that.I’ve been given the go ahead to confirm. Some have already guessed it…but Amorrow Morgan is the guy. Recently took the FSU assistant job, but will get to come back home to TN (from Memphis) and join the Vols staff. Morgan is a top notch recruiter and at 37, possesses the young and relatable quality that Barnes was looking for. Rod Clark will be missed, but Morgan also has AAU connections, was a former college player, and is more hands on in practices.
Bit surprised it’s not Rodney Terry, but I guess it makes sense to go young to replace youngI’ve been given the go ahead to confirm. Some have already guessed it…but Amorrow Morgan is the guy.
