I agree with that.. Was just hoping for something better considering we have a pretty huge need to find a starting 2 guard.. this guy doesn’t fill that need.. But yeah I mean I guess if we are filling out 15 spots take him if he fits the culture and is cheap.I mean Dubar never averaged 8ppg at a HM, or even 1/3 of that, and CUSA is much better than CAA or whatever Hofstra is now. My outlook is I would take him over Boswell, Evans or Henderson at the 2 almost certainly, so worst case is it’s another option and someone has to be better than what he is to beat him out, and that’s not a bad floor.
Gus Good Time Deli free for the entire yearI agree with that.. So are we out on Adams? The “glorious” was a hint at the term Abram. Sorry, I was using a biblical reference along with the singer Abram that sings “Glorious” lol.
But Ameer is a great add for us. Lenghty, can shoot above average, and is a dawg on defense. Remember, we have an elite scorer at the 1 and the 3. Ameer is obviously not the defender Shack was, but is a much better offensive weapon that can score at 3 levels, isn’t afraid to drive and kick or take it hard to the glass, and is a solid ball handler. I believe with him, Amari, Bishop, and Massamba, you will have a lot of options to fill that 2 role…but I think Ameer Abram is the best option there and will be like a Jordan Gainey with a little Shack in him.

So we added both? Guess I'm way behind in this thread.I am weirdly optimistic about the additions of AA and CM. Nice veteran and young guy duo, we have been good at finding underrated talent in the past, I just hope that is what's happening here and not a "oh crap these are the only guys we can get at this point". We completely let Rice run around on us and should've cut him off the second he broke his word about no more visits. Carefully optimistic, but sheesh I can't wait to see the final roster in action next year!
I think he’s a starting quality 2 guard, you don’t want him to be option 1, but if Ament and JG are what you hope then he’s definitely not. Again imo I think he fills a Mashack type role but with more offense, which is a nice player.I agree with that.. Hopefully the Massamba deal gets done.
