I would be SHOCKED if he plays here. I’m not saying he absolutely does not because I can’t predict the future like some of our fans can, but highly unlikely is what I’m going with.

Now, if you want to be an OK top 25 team that doesn’t contend, then 2-3 shooters/scorers plus a great defense will be fine. But if you want to contend for a FF, you are going to want 4 shooters on the floor most of the time.

Gillespie and Ament can shoot. Okpara cannot.

We are basically assuming RB can find a way to get some shooting or post scoring out of the PF position. That’s 3 shooters on the floor.

To contend we need the last starter to be a shooting/scoring threat.

Doesn’t mean Lanier’s level or Knecht’s or Lofton’s. Gainey’s level or zz’s would also be fine, as long as it’s a threat to shoot or score.

He couldn't have hurt them many more times. They went 59-14 the last two years with a Final Four run and SEC Championship. This year they finished 32-6 against the toughest schedule in CBB.

Go to other boards a couple of years ago. This is what they said about Uros constantly re being a dirty player (and he was, he was just our dirty player). Then there was the Grant Williams years where he was accused of being a dirty flopper by rivals. Nature of the beast.

He’s a cancer. Sometimes they won in spite of him. He is one of the most ill-behaved players I’ve ever seen. You’ve got a weird flex going on.

Not a flex at all. A weird flex is saying he's a cancer when his team was about as healthy as a team can possibly be. I mean I don't expect he'll play here, but I'd have no issue if he did and I doubt the people on the fainting couch now would either.

I never said Grant was a dirty player. But if you go to other boards you'd see constant talk about him flopping etc. It was especially prevalent on Rupps Rafters.

Uros was dirty. Sure, it got us fired up some when he would do some dumb sh*t, but by and large, I couldn’t stand watching him. His antics didn’t come close to being acceptable for the level of player he was.

Grant, sure, opposition thought he hooked a lot and flopped. Well, he was SEC POY and absolutely carried us on several occasions. Not only that, but he was far from the sensationalism of other fan bases, much less what CBM is. Add into all this, we’re talking about 20 year olds on the Vols that had opposing fans complaining. CBM will be TWENTY SIX next season. He’s pushing 30 and less emotionally mature than the freshmen we’ll be bringing in. Absolutely unacceptable for someone who should be a vet leader on a team.

If Trilly is correct, that we have reached out, we either did it behind Barnes's back or he knows and approves. I'd side with the latter if that's the case, and I'll side with Barnes's judgement over mine, yours or any others about the roster.

For the record, Trilly didn’t say that - it was one of the Auburn guys on their channel. He very well could’ve just been trolling UT and UA lol

I’ll worry about CBM if he somehow ends up here.

I still think it’s a troll OR someone is trying improve his stock by floating our name.

I don’t know if Barnes reached out to him or not.

If he thinks he can fix him, then I’m all for it.

However, the guy clearly has mental issues that’s needs to be addressed or he’ll end up behind bars one day.
