It looks like, on paper, one side of the ball will be strong and the other side may struggle. Offense may struggle. Here's hoping both sides click. National championship incoming.

Gilliam posted a story on IG of him with a DL from Kent State….don’t think he’s in the portal though.

Hope he enters lol

Edit: never mind….don't think he can enter..sad

Are you basing this on the QB situation?
I really enjoy watching the sports source and their review of each position group. And on paper, OL is weaker this year without Heard. Receivers may be weaker without Brazzel. Running game is weaker than going in to last year. And then, yes, unproven QB is a concern. But yes, with better strength and conditioning and another year for some players, could work out. If it does, would this be the first year under Heupel when we are clicking on both sides of the ball?

How is the running game weaker? We bring back our 1k back

OL will be better/deeper if Sanders is as good as we think he is

Staley/Matthews both will take another step. Staff really likes the other young receivers

Starr Thomas, peyton Lewis , and Bishop were a better group it seems. Heard may have been our best OL last year and Brazzell was our best Wr. But, thats not saying this year's group won't be better as the season plays out.

Lewis was average, and had brick hands. He was one dimensionally a short yardage power back, and I still preferred Bishop to be in the game in those situations because he could, run, catch, and block.. Star was underused. I think he could have given us more, but I guess the coaches had their reasons. I like our stable of running backs. Our WR room has huge upside and talent. Brazalle was hit or miss before he broke out this year. I expect we will see the same or similar out of our young talented room. I really think our RB room will be more talented and all around more versatile this year with Bishop, Morris, the Tulane kid, and I think people
Are sleeping on Justin Baker.

short yardage??!!!

Please not the short yards.

6'0" 232, 4.4 forty

Likely a HOFer in 2026.

Think he’s talking about Peyton Lewis lol
Yes. Peyton Lewis. Jamal Lewis was an all time great. He would have been greater had he not blown his knee and then played safe his last season to preserve his pro career which was hall of fame. He still had a great junior year. Cobb, Webb, Lewis, Garner. That’s why people hope for DGG with the weapons we have accumulated, there could be some holes for him to house it.

All of this. Overall, I expect the 10 surrounding the QB to be even better next year.

Even if it’s not, I don’t expect a struggle.
