2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I really like the Baylor RB. I think he’d be a great fit. I’ll be honest, I wish we would have used Star Thomas a little more. Bishop is fantastic but I feel like Star could have been similar to Kamara (just not as good). I agree with the poster that said we are looking for a Star replacement and not someone to star over Bishop. Washington would fit that mold I believe.

I used to donate 5 figures every year for a while till things got a little tough. Still have contacts that take care of me and up a good bit on the list and hope to give more as we had one of our better years in the last few. But the talent fee grates me.
Help the poor over here jacket! I’ll send my Venmo. I’m trying to get boats like Invol.

Imagine your handler, your Mom, and yourself are making $500K, and you're playing in SEC with potential to be a playoff team. And then you decide you arent getting your way, and you can make more money, also, being sold on ocean front property at same school...in the Rockies.

Imagine then, you talk ish, your Mom acts like she never left 6th grade, and you bail on your team. Only to find out, you arent worth that. And...Vandy.

There was some hope about Simpson until yesterday afternoon. Even if Joey wins, there is some concern he'll ask more than his value given the market. Today we seemed to have switched to an aggressive pursuit of someone besides those two. I don't know if new targets will emerge from new entries.
Weird question given that he committed to Indiana, but is the someone Josh Hoover?

Twitter, a family member posted a pick of him in uga gear from his recruitment with the 👀 emoji, his dad commented something blowing it off, and the that sullen dude posted that cryptic tweet
That’s not at all what happened with that tweet. You either have trouble with reading comprehension or you’re a troll.

Asking an eighteen year old kid to choose between staying with his team and commitments vs moving and getting a million dollars is not a fair game.
A million dollars is life changing money for most in America at any age. Especially so for a kid that’s likely never earned more than minimum wage, if they’ve even had a job.

An unattended consequence of ALL the transferring, year in and year out, is players will not be NFL ready. Coaches are going to have to simplify offenses and defenses to accommodate for the lack of natural growth in a complex system. This isn’t really helping the athletes in regards to NFL imo, unless you’re a low DII guy moving up.
Quick, someone get those consequences a chaperone!

I think he “opted out” very early in their season. I would pass
He got hurt against Iowa St (reportedly after kicking a bench after a muffed punt on his first play of the season). Missed a few games then came back and played for 3 games before taking a medical red shirt.
