Watching Autozone Liberty Bowl and it showed a little deal about the revised transfer portal and the last thing on there was that if you enter the portal and don’t get picked up you can go back to your original team.
How does that work if your spot got taken or was that out of context. Seems like a pretty big deal if that’s true.

As soon as you enter the portal, your scholarship is revoked and if you return, it's up to the coach if you get a scholarship back. That's the protection teams have for players going in the portal
